Effective date: October 27, 2026
This policy describes information handled through Delinquent Tax Records at delinquenttaxrecords.com. The site is an independent public-records access directory. It does not host a taxpayer database. For questions about this policy or your information, please contact us.
Information you provide
If you use our contact form, we receive your email address, the name you choose to provide, your selected topic and your message. We use this information to respond, investigate corrections, maintain correspondence and protect the service from abuse. Contact messages are not published automatically.
The form sends messages through our website’s email system to the site team. The contact form does not create a separate contact-message database, but messages may be retained in email inboxes, by email delivery or logging services, or in backups. Please do not include sensitive identifiers, financial information or unnecessary taxpayer details.
Technical information and directory searches
The website’s hosting, security and email providers may process information such as IP addresses, browser details, requested URLs, timestamps and delivery information to operate and protect the site. Directory searches can appear in page URLs, browser history and hosting logs. The directory does not create a separate saved search-history account for visitors.
To limit contact-form abuse, the contact form derives a hashed identifier from the connecting IP address and temporarily stores a submission count, normally for 15 minutes. It does not store the raw IP address in that rate-limit record. Hosting and security logs are separate and may contain IP addresses.
Cookies and browser storage
WordPress and active site services may use cookies or similar technology for functions such as sign-in, security and remembering consent preferences. Where a cookie-preferences panel is available, use it to review or change optional choices. Your browser also provides cookie controls; restricting cookies may affect some functions.
Advertising, if enabled
The following describes advertising if introduced; it does not mean advertising is currently active. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. Google’s advertising cookies allow Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
You can manage personalized advertising through Google My Ad Center and learn about Google’s practices at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. Participating vendors also provide choices through the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out tool. These controls do not necessarily remove all advertising.
Analytics, if enabled
If analytics services are enabled, they may process usage and device information to help us understand visits and improve navigation. Optional tracking choices, when offered, can be managed through the site’s consent controls. The presence of this section does not mean analytics is currently active.
Service providers and disclosures
Information may be processed by hosting, email, security, backup, consent-management and, if enabled, analytics or advertising providers as needed to deliver those services. We may disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect the website, its users or others. Information may be processed in locations other than your own.
External records websites
Government and service-provider links lead to separate websites. Their privacy policies, fees and terms apply when you use them. We do not control their records, tracking or payment systems. Requests to correct a government tax record should be directed to the agency maintaining it.
Retention, security and your choices
We retain correspondence and related operational records as needed to address requests, maintain the service, resolve disputes and meet applicable obligations. Retention varies across email, hosting and backup systems. We use reasonable safeguards, but no transmission or storage system is completely secure.
You may contact us to request access, correction or deletion of personal information you submitted. Depending on your location, additional rights may apply. We may need to verify the request and may retain information where an applicable exception or obligation permits or requires it. This process does not allow us to remove information held by a government office or an external records provider.
Children
This directory is intended for general public-records research and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the site, contact us so we can review and address it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the website or its services change. The effective date above identifies the current published version. Material changes will be described on this page.
