Sheridan County Treasurer — Property Tax Records
Search county property-tax recordsHow to find the information
Use Property Taxes Online from the current Treasurer’s Property Taxes page. The inspected iTax form offers Local Tax Number, owner name, property address and Geo Code, with subdivision criteria; it asks for one search criterion at a time. For an existing delinquent real-property report, year-by-year account history or current payoff, call the Sheridan County Treasurer at 307-674-2520. Specify parcel/account identifiers if known, tax years, desired as-of date, real-property scope and preferred electronic-copy or inspection format. Request a fee estimate for any copies, export or certification before ordering.
What to ask for
“I am looking for publicly available delinquent real-property tax records for Sheridan County for [tax year]. Which office maintains these records? Is there an online search or downloadable list? If not, how can I request a copy, and what fees apply?”
Have the property address, parcel number, owner name, and tax year ready when searching for a particular property.
County-specific notes
The entry instructs mailed-payment users to obtain the payoff amount and allow mailing time. The Treasurer separately advertises an 8/13/26 Tax Sale List spreadsheet. Its published label was identified without downloading its rows; it is a dated sale list, not a live delinquency roll. Reviewed status concerns source/access instructions, not certification of taxpayer balances. No taxpayer search, payment, registration or records-request submission was performed, and no owner-level rows are included.
