How to find the information

Open Tax Sale Information and its document labelled FINAL 2025 DELINQUENT TAX SALE LIST 08/08/2026. Check the document’s own tax year, publication date and sale scope, then ask the Treasurer for any more recent existing delinquency report or account history. For an existing delinquent real-property report, year-by-year account history or current payoff, call the Carbon County Treasurer at 307-328-2631. Specify parcel/account identifiers if known, tax years, desired as-of date, real-property scope and preferred electronic-copy or inspection format. Request a fee estimate for any copies, export or certification before ordering. Published office email: taxoffice@carboncountywy.gov.

What to ask for

“I am looking for publicly available delinquent real-property tax records for Carbon County for [tax year]. Which office maintains these records? Is there an online search or downloadable list? If not, how can I request a copy, and what fees apply?”

Have the property address, parcel number, owner name, and tax year ready when searching for a particular property.

County-specific notes

The 2025 tax-year list carries an August 2026 label and is not a live October 2026 unpaid roll. Its link/label was reviewed; document rows and continued liability were not audited. The separate county-linked Greenwood map redirected to a destination that did not load successfully in this review; that does not prove permanent public unavailability. The current county contact is 307-328-2631, replacing the older state directory’s 2633. Reviewed status concerns source/access instructions, not certification of taxpayer balances. No taxpayer search, payment, registration or records-request submission was performed, and no owner-level rows are included.

An independent directory, not a government agency.

We help you locate records; we do not store taxpayer lists, determine delinquency, collect taxes, or sell tax liens. Confirm balances, payment status, deadlines, and fees with the responsible office. A tax-sale list is not a complete list of delinquent accounts.
