How to find the information

The county endorses Ascent Property Tax Search and describes second installments/delinquencies as county collections. It treats the City of Racine’s installment schedule separately, so confirm the collector for that city and year. Its Tax Inquiry instructions describe name, street address or parcel-ID lookup and printable bills. Ask the Treasurer for the existing unpaid ledger, missing years and later costs rather than assuming every municipal current bill has transferred.

Identify the county, municipality, real-estate parcel/account number, tax years and desired as-of date. Ask for the existing unpaid collection ledger or dated statement showing principal, included levies/special assessments, payments, interest, penalties and later costs. Confirm whether the municipality still holds that year or the county has taken over. An ordinary bill, paid receipt, assessment roll, tax certificate, In Rem case, redemption calculation, tax-deeded property list and surplus-proceeds distribution are separate records. For enforcement or a completed sale, ask the Treasurer to identify the applicable court/county custodian and request the dated notice, case/sale record or funds record. Confirm available existing formats and copy/certification charges before ordering.

What to ask for

“I am looking for publicly available delinquent real-property tax records for Racine County for [tax year]. Which office maintains these records? Is there an online search or downloadable list? If not, how can I request a copy, and what fees apply?”

Have the property address, parcel number, owner name, and tax year ready when searching for a particular property.

County-specific notes

Verified means published access guidance reviewed, including described staff-assisted statements/copies and existing-report routes; no taxpayer query tested. Reviewed October 29, 2026. Some posted guides use older years, legacy systems or changed collection dates; follow current county links and confirm the specific year/stage. County-owned tax-deeded parcels and surplus money do not represent every delinquent account. No taxpayer searches, guest logins, account registrations, records requests, payments or owner-list republication performed.

We help you locate records; we do not store taxpayer lists, determine delinquency, collect taxes, or sell tax liens. Confirm balances, payment status, deadlines, and fees with the responsible office. A tax-sale list is not a complete list of delinquent accounts.
