Kane County Treasurer — Real Property Tax Records
County delinquency publication informationHow to find the information
The Treasurer page links a 2026 Property Tax Sale Listing and a separate Tax Record Search. Use the listing only for that offering’s stated date/scope and ask the Treasurer for any broader existing delinquency report or account history. For an existing delinquent real-estate report, year-by-year account history or current balance, contact the Kane County Treasurer at 435-644-5659. Specify the parcel/account identifier, tax years, report as-of date, real-property scope and preferred electronic-copy or inspection format. Ask which existing record is available and obtain any copy/export or certification fee estimate before ordering.
What to ask for
“I am looking for publicly available delinquent real-property tax records for Kane County for [tax year]. Which office maintains these records? Is there an online search or downloadable list? If not, how can I request a copy, and what fees apply?”
Have the property address, parcel number, owner name, and tax year ready when searching for a particular property.
County-specific notes
The county-linked EagleWeb tax-search requests could not be inspected successfully in this review. That is not proof that the service is unavailable to the public. A 2026 sale-list label does not establish an upcoming sale, current liability or a complete unpaid-account roll. Source verification concerns records-access guidance, not a certification of taxpayer balances. No taxpayer query, payment, account registration or records-request submission was performed; no owner-level data are included in this import.
