How to find the information

Choose the county/municipal service matching the bill. The Trustee website identifies the linked service for Rutherford County, Smyrna and Eagleville. Locate the property and review the requested year’s bill. Use the separate Murfreesboro or La Vergne link on the Trustee website for those city bills.

What to ask for

“I am looking for publicly available delinquent real-property tax records for Rutherford County for [tax year]. Which office maintains these records? Is there an online search or downloadable list? If not, how can I request a copy, and what fees apply?”

Have the property address, parcel number, owner name, and tax year ready when searching for a particular property.

County-specific notes

The Trustee site distinguishes municipal collection routes. A county bill alone does not establish that a separate city bill has been paid. Call 615-898-7705 if the requested year is absent or the account has moved to court collection.

An independent directory, not a government agency.

We help you locate records; we do not store taxpayer lists, determine delinquency, collect taxes, or sell tax liens. Confirm balances, payment status, deadlines, and fees with the responsible office. A tax-sale list is not a complete list of delinquent accounts.
