Where to obtain records

Madison County Chancery Court — court-filed delinquent property taxes

Search Madison court-filed delinquent taxes

How to find the information

Choose the first service on the court’s Online Payments page: Chancery Court Delinquent Tax Payments. Follow its link, choose a filter, enter the matching criteria and enable Unpaid Only if needed. Open the matching record. For a tax year not filed in court, contact the Trustee at 731-423-6027.

What to ask for

“I am looking for publicly available delinquent real-property tax records for Madison County for [tax year]. Which office maintains these records? Is there an online search or downloadable list? If not, how can I request a copy, and what fees apply?”

Have the property address, parcel number, owner name, and tax year ready when searching for a particular property.

County-specific notes

Do not use the adjacent civil-fee payment option for delinquent property taxes; the court explicitly distinguishes those services. Court tax questions go to 731-423-6071. The older Trustee payment link returned a missing-page error during this review.

An independent directory, not a government agency.

We help you locate records; we do not store taxpayer lists, determine delinquency, collect taxes, or sell tax liens. Confirm balances, payment status, deadlines, and fees with the responsible office. A tax-sale list is not a complete list of delinquent accounts.
