How to find the information

Scroll to Delinquent Tax File and choose its text or CSV download. Read the accompanying instructions and the posted update date. For one property, use Search/Pay Property Tax on the Trustee page; its inquiry supports map/group/parcel, last name, bill number and address. The separate Clerk & Master Delinquent Property Tax Inquiry covers court-held records.

What to ask for

“I am looking for publicly available delinquent real-property tax records for Hamilton County for [tax year]. Which office maintains these records? Is there an online search or downloadable list? If not, how can I request a copy, and what fees apply?”

Have the property address, parcel number, owner name, and tax year ready when searching for a particular property.

County-specific notes

The delinquent downloads page displayed October 1, 2026 as its file-update date. It is a dated dataset, not a live payoff quote. The Clerk & Master inquiry is at cmpti.hamiltontn.gov, phone 423-209-6600.

An independent directory, not a government agency.

We help you locate records; we do not store taxpayer lists, determine delinquency, collect taxes, or sell tax liens. Confirm balances, payment status, deadlines, and fees with the responsible office. A tax-sale list is not a complete list of delinquent accounts.
