Where to look, which office to contact, and how to request records.
Where to obtain records
Meade County Treasurer / Property Tax
County tax-records access guidanceHow to find the information
Treasurer points to a dated notice for delinquent 2024 real-estate, mobile-home and lease-site taxes and a separate online payment portal. It says delinquent taxes cannot be paid online and directs visitors to 605-347-5871. Request the current ledger or payoff directly.
To request an existing delinquent real-property report, parcel account/payment ledger, bill copy or dated redemption/payoff calculation, provide the county parcel/Tax ID if known, tax years and payable years, desired as-of date and preferred inspection or electronic-copy format. Ask whether the record includes special assessments, tax certificates, interest, penalties and costs. Confirm any copy, certification or extract charge and ask for an existing report rather than assuming the office creates custom lists. A valuation, payment screen, dated publication or tax-deed record does not certify today’s unpaid balance.
What to ask for
“I am looking for publicly available delinquent real-property tax records for Meade County for [tax year]. Which office maintains these records? Is there an online search or downloadable list? If not, how can I request a copy, and what fees apply?”
Have the property address, parcel number, owner name, and tax year ready when searching for a particular property.
County-specific notes

No taxpayer query, payment, account registration or records-request submission was made. No taxpayer rows or owner-list attachments are included in this import.
