Hand County Treasurer / Property Tax

County office contact guidance

Contact the office for delinquent property tax records. This guide does not confirm an online search or current bill list.

How to find the information

Treasurer publishes 605-853-2136 and 415 West First Avenue, Suite 201, Miller. Call to confirm how an existing unpaid-tax report, parcel ledger or statement can be inspected or supplied.

To request an existing delinquent real-property report, parcel account/payment ledger, bill copy or dated redemption/payoff calculation, provide the county parcel/Tax ID if known, tax years and payable years, desired as-of date and preferred inspection or electronic-copy format. Ask whether the record includes special assessments, tax certificates, interest, penalties and costs. Confirm any copy, certification or extract charge and ask for an existing report rather than assuming the office creates custom lists. A valuation, payment screen, dated publication or tax-deed record does not certify today’s unpaid balance.

What to ask for

“I am looking for publicly available delinquent real-property tax records for Hand County for [tax year]. Which office maintains these records? Is there an online search or downloadable list? If not, how can I request a copy, and what fees apply?”

Have the property address, parcel number, owner name, and tax year ready when searching for a particular property.

County-specific notes

Contact status: the reviewed page supplies collection-office and property-tax guidance links, but no current public delinquency query or complete electronic report was confirmed. Request the collection record rather than only a levy or assessed value. No taxpayer query, payment, account registration or records-request submission was made. No taxpayer rows or owner-list attachments are included in this import.

We help you locate records; we do not store taxpayer lists, determine delinquency, collect taxes, or sell tax liens. Confirm balances, payment status, deadlines, and fees with the responsible office. A tax-sale list is not a complete list of delinquent accounts.
