Deuel County Treasurer / Property Tax
County tax-records access guidanceHow to find the information
Treasurer separates View Property Taxes Online from Pay Property Taxes, using different services. Its office is on the second floor of the courthouse in Clear Lake, with tax inquiries at 605-874-2483. Request current unpaid years or a dated ledger directly when needed.
To request an existing delinquent real-property report, parcel account/payment ledger, bill copy or dated redemption/payoff calculation, provide the county parcel/Tax ID if known, tax years and payable years, desired as-of date and preferred inspection or electronic-copy format. Ask whether the record includes special assessments, tax certificates, interest, penalties and costs. Confirm any copy, certification or extract charge and ask for an existing report rather than assuming the office creates custom lists. A valuation, payment screen, dated publication or tax-deed record does not certify today’s unpaid balance.
What to ask for
“I am looking for publicly available delinquent real-property tax records for Deuel County for [tax year]. Which office maintains these records? Is there an online search or downloadable list? If not, how can I request a copy, and what fees apply?”
Have the property address, parcel number, owner name, and tax year ready when searching for a particular property.
County-specific notes
The viewing service could not be substantively retrieved. The separate payment link does not certify complete history, current delinquency coverage or an electronic export of all unpaid accounts. No taxpayer query, payment, account registration or records-request submission was made. No taxpayer rows or owner-list attachments are included in this import.
