What to ask for
“I am looking for publicly available delinquent real-property tax records for Williamsburg County for [tax year]. Which office maintains these records? Is there an online search or downloadable list? If not, how can I request a copy, and what fees apply?”
Have the property address, parcel number, owner name, and tax year ready when searching for a particular property.
County-specific notes
The official office information and published navigation were reviewed. Linked downloads, individual taxpayer records and payment checkout were not tested. A dated sale advertisement or a forfeited-land list does not establish a current balance for every county property. Williamsburg’s bill service, when used, should not be assumed to accept delinquent checkout: its public tax-service notices distinguish inquiry from office payment. The Tax Collector’s county pages list 843-355-9321, extension 5800. One notice labels the sale as 2025 while giving a November 17, 2026 date; confirm the intended year with the office.
