How to find the information

Open Delinquent Taxes and find the dated advertisement rows. Choose Real Estate File for land and buildings; Real Estate Header and Life Estate Statement are companion items, while Mobile Home File is separate. Read the publication date and tax/sale year. Call the Delinquent Tax Department at 803-785-8345 for an individual current balance or records outside the advertisements.

What to ask for

“I am looking for publicly available delinquent real-property tax records for Lexington County for [tax year]. Which office maintains these records? Is there an online search or downloadable list? If not, how can I request a copy, and what fees apply?”

Have the property address, parcel number, owner name, and tax year ready when searching for a particular property.

County-specific notes

The reviewed schedule included October 22 and October 29 advertisement rows and a November 2, 2026 sale. A future-dated row is a publication schedule, not proof a file was already available. Linked taxpayer files were not downloaded or reproduced.

An independent directory, not a government agency.

We help you locate records; we do not store taxpayer lists, determine delinquency, collect taxes, or sell tax liens. Confirm balances, payment status, deadlines, and fees with the responsible office. A tax-sale list is not a complete list of delinquent accounts.
