How to find the information

Open the Fairfield county source. Use the county navigation or current links labelled November 2, 2026 Delinquent Tax Sale (opens in new tab), 2026 Tax Sale Schedule of Events (opens in new tab), Search and Pay Taxes (opens in new tab). Check whether the material concerns all delinquent accounts, advertised real-estate parcels, mobile homes, or a specific sale. Read its tax year and publication date. For the current balance of one parcel or an existing countywide delinquent real-estate file, call 803-712-6522 and provide the address/map number and tax year.

What to ask for

“I am looking for publicly available delinquent real-property tax records for Fairfield County for [tax year]. Which office maintains these records? Is there an online search or downloadable list? If not, how can I request a copy, and what fees apply?”

Have the property address, parcel number, owner name, and tax year ready when searching for a particular property.

County-specific notes

The official office information and published navigation were reviewed. Linked downloads, individual taxpayer records and payment checkout were not tested. A dated sale advertisement or a forfeited-land list does not establish a current balance for every county property. Fairfield’s department lists main office 803-712-6522 and direct collector contact 803-815-4021. Its Tax Sale Overage Claim form concerns excess proceeds and is separate from a list of delinquent real-estate accounts.

An independent directory, not a government agency.

We help you locate records; we do not store taxpayer lists, determine delinquency, collect taxes, or sell tax liens. Confirm balances, payment status, deadlines, and fees with the responsible office. A tax-sale list is not a complete list of delinquent accounts.
