Where to obtain records

Crook County Finance Department / Tax Collection

Confirmed office route; online delinquency coverage unconfirmed

Contact the office for delinquent property tax records. This guide does not confirm an online search or current bill list.

How to find the information

Finance confirms property-tax billing and collection for county taxing districts and publishes Finance@crookcountyor.gov. Property Research separately links Property Search Online. Contact Tax Collection for the existing unpaid ledger and ask which delinquent years, costs and reports are publicly accessible. The reviewed pages establish the office and an assessment search route, but do not establish complete online delinquent-balance coverage or an electronic unpaid roll.

For an existing record request, identify the county tax account, property location, tax type, tax years and desired as-of date. Specify the unpaid collection ledger, dated foreclosure list, court judgment, redemption calculation, county-owned sale record or surplus-proceeds record needed. Ask how current installments, prior delinquent years, payments, interest and legal costs are separated. Confirm the custodian for court files or surplus proceeds and request existing records; do not assume the county will create a custom unpaid-roll extract. Confirm copy, certification, research and extraction charges before ordering.

What to ask for

“I am looking for publicly available delinquent real-property tax records for Crook County for [tax year]. Which office maintains these records? Is there an online search or downloadable list? If not, how can I request a copy, and what fees apply?”

Have the property address, parcel number, owner name, and tax year ready when searching for a particular property.

County-specific notes

Contact status confirms the office route; public online delinquency coverage remains unconfirmed. Reviewed October 29, 2026. Ordinary tax statements, unpaid collections, dated foreclosure publications, redemption records, sales of county-owned land and surplus proceeds differ in scope. Confirm later payments and costs with the custodian. No taxpayer search, portal login, account registration, record request, payment or owner-list republication was performed.

We help you locate records; we do not store taxpayer lists, determine delinquency, collect taxes, or sell tax liens. Confirm balances, payment status, deadlines, and fees with the responsible office. A tax-sale list is not a complete list of delinquent accounts.
