Where to obtain records
Morton County Treasurer / Property Tax
Tax statement / collection searchHow to find the information
Treasurer separates Property Search, Property Tax Information and Delinquent Property Tax Information. The map-linked iTax search entry was reviewed; use the Treasurer at 701-667-3310 for existing delinquency notices, account history or a dated payoff.
For an existing delinquent real-property report, parcel account/payment ledger, statement copy or dated payoff, provide the parcel/tax ID if known, tax years, desired as-of date and preferred inspection or electronic-copy format. Ask which principal taxes, interest, penalties, special assessments and costs are included and confirm any copy, certification or extract fee. A statement, recorded lien or sale notice does not certify today’s unpaid balance.
What to ask for
“I am looking for publicly available delinquent real-property tax records for Morton County for [tax year]. Which office maintains these records? Is there an online search or downloadable list? If not, how can I request a copy, and what fees apply?”
Have the property address, parcel number, owner name, and tax year ready when searching for a particular property.
County-specific notes
The page identifies both real-estate and mobile-home collection. A notice or a later-stage tax proceeding has narrower coverage than all unpaid real-property accounts. No account registration, payment, taxpayer search, records-request submission or owner-list attachment download was performed. This import contains access guidance, not taxpayer rows.
