PROPERTY TAX RESEARCH, MADE SIMPLER
Griggs County, North Dakota
Where to look, which office to contact, and how to request records.
Where to obtain records
Griggs County Treasurer / Property Tax
County tax-records access guidanceHow to find the information
Treasurer instructs visitors who lack a bill to request one from the office. The separate Real Estate Tax resource index lists real-estate statements for 2015–2025 and mobile-home statement files, including a 2026 mobile-home file. Use the office for current unpaid years and payment history.
For an existing delinquent real-property report, parcel account/payment ledger, statement copy or dated payoff, provide the parcel/tax ID if known, tax years, desired as-of date and preferred inspection or electronic-copy format. Ask which principal taxes, interest, penalties, special assessments and costs are included and confirm any copy, certification or extract fee. A statement, recorded lien or sale notice does not certify today’s unpaid balance.
What to ask for
“I am looking for publicly available delinquent real-property tax records for Griggs County for [tax year]. Which office maintains these records? Is there an online search or downloadable list? If not, how can I request a copy, and what fees apply?”
Have the property address, parcel number, owner name, and tax year ready when searching for a particular property.
County-specific notes
Real-estate and mobile-home files have different coverage. Attachment labels were reviewed without downloading taxpayer statements; a published bill does not show whether a later payment cleared it. No account registration, payment, taxpayer search, records-request submission or owner-list attachment download was performed. This import contains access guidance, not taxpayer rows.
