Barnes County Treasurer / Property Tax
County tax-records access guidanceHow to find the information
The Treasurer page identifies collection of real-estate, mobile-home and delinquent taxes, with general inquiries at treasurer@barnescounty.us. The map-linked property-tax route opens a disclaimer with agree/disagree choices; downstream search controls were not reviewed.
For an existing delinquent real-property report, parcel account/payment ledger, statement copy or dated payoff, provide the parcel/tax ID if known, tax years, desired as-of date and preferred inspection or electronic-copy format. Ask which principal taxes, interest, penalties, special assessments and costs are included and confirm any copy, certification or extract fee. A statement, recorded lien or sale notice does not certify today’s unpaid balance.
What to ask for
“I am looking for publicly available delinquent real-property tax records for Barnes County for [tax year]. Which office maintains these records? Is there an online search or downloadable list? If not, how can I request a copy, and what fees apply?”
Have the property address, parcel number, owner name, and tax year ready when searching for a particular property.
County-specific notes
Use the Treasurer’s 701-845-8505 office line rather than the general county switchboard ending in 8500. No acceptance or taxpayer search was submitted. No account registration, payment, taxpayer search, records-request submission or owner-list attachment download was performed. This import contains access guidance, not taxpayer rows.
