PROPERTY TAX RESEARCH, MADE SIMPLER
Torrance County, New Mexico
Where to look, which office to contact, and how to request records.
Where to obtain records
Torrance County Treasurer / Property Tax
County tax-records access guidanceHow to find the information
Treasurer provides a Tax/Delinquent Tax Roll Request Form and a separate miscellaneous-payment route requiring the completed form upload. It also publishes a records-custodian route and links EagleWeb for individual accounts. Ask 505-544-4800 about existing report scope, format and current charges before ordering.
For an existing delinquent real-property report, parcel account/payment ledger, statement copy or dated payoff, provide the county account/owner/parcel ID if known, tax years, desired as-of date and preferred inspection or electronic-copy format. Ask which principal taxes, penalties, interest and county/state costs are included, whether the account is state-referred, and whether recent payments have posted. Confirm any inspection, copy, certification or extract charge. An assessment, recorded lien, payment screen or dated sale list does not certify today’s unpaid balance.
What to ask for
“I am looking for publicly available delinquent real-property tax records for Torrance County for [tax year]. Which office maintains these records? Is there an online search or downloadable list? If not, how can I request a copy, and what fees apply?”
Have the property address, parcel number, owner name, and tax year ready when searching for a particular property.
County-specific notes
The county warns about software-conversion errors and asks visitors to report incorrect account balances. EagleWeb Help explicitly says Owner Search is unavailable despite generic name-search text. No request upload, payment, taxpayer query or tax-roll delivery was tested. No taxpayer query, CAPTCHA verification, account creation, e-billing enrollment, payment or records-request submission was made. No taxpayer rows or owner-list attachments are included.
