Santa Fe County Treasurer / Property Tax
County tax-records access guidanceHow to find the information
Treasurer describes a customer portal with bill viewing, payment history and amounts due by year for the last ten taxable years. Its separate one-time payment entry warns to omit the leading zero of the Account Number and says payments apply to the oldest balance first. Use 505-986-6245 for public account records or a dated payoff.
For an existing delinquent real-property report, parcel account/payment ledger, statement copy or dated payoff, provide the county account/owner/parcel ID if known, tax years, desired as-of date and preferred inspection or electronic-copy format. Ask which principal taxes, penalties, interest and county/state costs are included, whether the account is state-referred, and whether recent payments have posted. Confirm any inspection, copy, certification or extract charge. An assessment, recorded lien, payment screen or dated sale list does not certify today’s unpaid balance.
What to ask for
“I am looking for publicly available delinquent real-property tax records for Santa Fe County for [tax year]. Which office maintains these records? Is there an online search or downloadable list? If not, how can I request a copy, and what fees apply?”
Have the property address, parcel number, owner name, and tax year ready when searching for a particular property.
County-specific notes
The ten-year description concerns the county’s registered customer-account workflow, not a tested unrestricted countywide delinquency query. No registration or taxpayer query was attempted. Native one-time search fields were not exposed in the retrieved page. No taxpayer query, CAPTCHA verification, account creation, e-billing enrollment, payment or records-request submission was made. No taxpayer rows or owner-list attachments are included.
