Otero County Treasurer / Property Tax
County tax-records access guidanceHow to find the information
Treasurer links its EagleWeb service and publishes separate tax-roll and modified-roll provisions. Its search Help gives a maximum of 1,000 results, a thirteen-digit parcel number without dashes and Normal/Advanced search options. Ask Treasury at 575-437-2030 for bulk-roll terms or unpaid records outside that coverage.
For an existing delinquent real-property report, parcel account/payment ledger, statement copy or dated payoff, provide the county account/owner/parcel ID if known, tax years, desired as-of date and preferred inspection or electronic-copy format. Ask which principal taxes, penalties, interest and county/state costs are included, whether the account is state-referred, and whether recent payments have posted. Confirm any inspection, copy, certification or extract charge. An assessment, recorded lien, payment screen or dated sale list does not certify today’s unpaid balance.
What to ask for
“I am looking for publicly available delinquent real-property tax records for Otero County for [tax year]. Which office maintains these records? Is there an online search or downloadable list? If not, how can I request a copy, and what fees apply?”
Have the property address, parcel number, owner name, and tax year ready when searching for a particular property.
County-specific notes
These are published Help limits, not a tested export or completeness guarantee. The office page separately discusses personal-property/mobile-home enforcement and service charges; those records and charges should not be treated as identical to all delinquent real-estate accounts. No taxpayer query, CAPTCHA verification, account creation, e-billing enrollment, payment or records-request submission was made. No taxpayer rows or owner-list attachments are included.
