McKinley County Treasurer / Property Tax
Tax-roll request guidanceHow to find the information
The county’s Treasurer Tax Roll Request form offers named file types, including Tr Bal Due Extract (Treasurer Account Balance). It publishes $150 per tax roll in TXT format, three to four business days for processing, and an additional $15 per hour for spreadsheet format or selected data. Questions go to treasurertaxroll@co.mckinley.nm.us.
For an existing delinquent real-property report, parcel account/payment ledger, statement copy or dated payoff, provide the county account/owner/parcel ID if known, tax years, desired as-of date and preferred inspection or electronic-copy format. Ask which principal taxes, penalties, interest and county/state costs are included, whether the account is state-referred, and whether recent payments have posted. Confirm any inspection, copy, certification or extract charge. An assessment, recorded lien, payment screen or dated sale list does not certify today’s unpaid balance.
What to ask for
“I am looking for publicly available delinquent real-property tax records for McKinley County for [tax year]. Which office maintains these records? Is there an online search or downloadable list? If not, how can I request a copy, and what fees apply?”
Have the property address, parcel number, owner name, and tax year ready when searching for a particular property.
County-specific notes
Ask whether the balance extract covers the unpaid population and as-of date needed, and confirm current fees before ordering. The form distinguishes Treasurer rolls from Assessor rolls. Form fields and published delivery terms were reviewed, but no request, invoice, payment or actual extract delivery was tested. No taxpayer query, CAPTCHA verification, account creation, e-billing enrollment, payment or records-request submission was made. No taxpayer rows or owner-list attachments are included.
