County tax-records access guidanceHow to find the information
Property Tax Payment routes account and payment-verification questions to the Customer Care Center at 505-662-8333 or CustomerCare@lacnm.us. It says staff can identify payment information using the tax-bill number, owner name or property address. Use Customer Care for existing unpaid history or a dated amount.
For an existing delinquent real-property report, parcel account/payment ledger, statement copy or dated payoff, provide the county account/owner/parcel ID if known, tax years, desired as-of date and preferred inspection or electronic-copy format. Ask which principal taxes, penalties, interest and county/state costs are included, whether the account is state-referred, and whether recent payments have posted. Confirm any inspection, copy, certification or extract charge. An assessment, recorded lien, payment screen or dated sale list does not certify today’s unpaid balance.
What to ask for
“I am looking for publicly available delinquent real-property tax records for Los Alamos County for [tax year]. Which office maintains these records? Is there an online search or downloadable list? If not, how can I request a copy, and what fees apply?”
Have the property address, parcel number, owner name, and tax year ready when searching for a particular property.
County-specific notes
Online eNotices registration requires a county authorization code from the most recent bill; it is not demonstrated unrestricted public account access. The county warns that payment posting can take several days. This local service number differs from the older state-directory Treasurer listing. No taxpayer query, CAPTCHA verification, account creation, e-billing enrollment, payment or records-request submission was made. No taxpayer rows or owner-list attachments are included.
