How to find the information

The Treasurer page links its County Lookup service. Its navigation separates Owner Number, Owner Name, Bill Number, Zip Code, Property Code and Physical Address. An Owner Number entry field was reviewed without entering criteria. Contact Treasury at 575-542-9313 for unpaid history or a dated payoff.

For an existing delinquent real-property report, parcel account/payment ledger, statement copy or dated payoff, provide the county account/owner/parcel ID if known, tax years, desired as-of date and preferred inspection or electronic-copy format. Ask which principal taxes, penalties, interest and county/state costs are included, whether the account is state-referred, and whether recent payments have posted. Confirm any inspection, copy, certification or extract charge. An assessment, recorded lien, payment screen or dated sale list does not certify today’s unpaid balance.

What to ask for

“I am looking for publicly available delinquent real-property tax records for Hidalgo County for [tax year]. Which office maintains these records? Is there an online search or downloadable list? If not, how can I request a copy, and what fees apply?”

Have the property address, parcel number, owner name, and tax year ready when searching for a particular property.

County-specific notes

The retrieved entry also included a security-check prompt; no verification or query was attempted. The separate recorded-document service and assessed value do not certify current collection status or complete delinquency coverage. No taxpayer query, CAPTCHA verification, account creation, e-billing enrollment, payment or records-request submission was made. No taxpayer rows or owner-list attachments are included.

An independent directory, not a government agency.

We help you locate records; we do not store taxpayer lists, determine delinquency, collect taxes, or sell tax liens. Confirm balances, payment status, deadlines, and fees with the responsible office. A tax-sale list is not a complete list of delinquent accounts.
