How to find the information

Follow Tax Search from the Treasurer’s county-linked public-access service. The published instructions say to search by Parcel/Identifier number, owner name or property address. Enter parcel digits without dashes; for names, the office suggests last name then first name, or last name alone. The page states a 200-parcel limit and warns that delinquent amounts may be incorrect; contact the Treasurer for a current collection balance. For an existing delinquent real-estate report or year-by-year tax history, contact the Washoe County Treasurer/collection office at 775-328-2510. Specify the fiscal years, report as-of date, real-estate scope and preferred electronic-copy or inspection format. Ask which existing records are available and request any copy, certification or export fee estimate before ordering. Published office email: tax@washoecounty.gov. Published office address: P.O. Box 30039, Reno, NV 89520-3039.

What to ask for

“I am looking for publicly available delinquent real-property tax records for Washoe County for [tax year]. Which office maintains these records? Is there an online search or downloadable list? If not, how can I request a copy, and what fees apply?”

Have the property address, parcel number, owner name, and tax year ready when searching for a particular property.

County-specific notes

The search page expressly warns that delinquent results may not show the correct amount owing and directs users to contact the Treasurer for the current amount due. It also states a 200-parcel search limit, so it is not presented as a complete countywide export. The public instructions were inspected; the dynamically loaded input controls and actual results were not. Real-property and personal-property tax sales are separate county guidance sections. Verification concerns the source/access guide, not taxpayer balances. No taxpayer query, account registration, payment, record export or owner-list republication was performed. Unpaid current installments, delinquent accounts, trustee/deeded properties, sale offerings and excess proceeds have different scopes.

An independent directory, not a government agency.

We help you locate records; we do not store taxpayer lists, determine delinquency, collect taxes, or sell tax liens. Confirm balances, payment status, deadlines, and fees with the responsible office. A tax-sale list is not a complete list of delinquent accounts.
