How to find the information

Open the county-linked Property Tax Inquiry and use the real-estate/parcel search with Parcel ID, Owner Name or the house-number/street/city/ZIP address fields. Match the correct parcel and review the account’s tax years, amounts due and payment history as available. A parcel/appraisal match or a single current-year bill does not establish the status of every tax year. For an existing delinquent real-estate report or year-by-year tax history, contact the Storey County Treasurer/collection office at 775-847-0969. Specify the fiscal years, report as-of date, real-estate scope and preferred electronic-copy or inspection format. Ask which existing records are available and request any copy, certification or export fee estimate before ordering. Published office email: treasurer@storeycounty.org. Published office address: 26 S. B Street, Drawer D, Virginia City, NV 89440.

What to ask for

“I am looking for publicly available delinquent real-property tax records for Storey County for [tax year]. Which office maintains these records? Is there an online search or downloadable list? If not, how can I request a copy, and what fees apply?”

Have the property address, parcel number, owner name, and tax year ready when searching for a particular property.

County-specific notes

The Treasurer’s page labels this link Pay Your Real Property Taxes or Search the Tax Roll Online. The DEVNET footer gives a separate assessment-office number; use the Treasurer’s 775-847-0969 for payment history, delinquency files and current collection balances. An assessed value alone does not establish tax delinquency. Verification concerns the source/access guide, not taxpayer balances. No taxpayer query, account registration, payment, record export or owner-list republication was performed. Unpaid current installments, delinquent accounts, trustee/deeded properties, sale offerings and excess proceeds have different scopes.

An independent directory, not a government agency.

We help you locate records; we do not store taxpayer lists, determine delinquency, collect taxes, or sell tax liens. Confirm balances, payment status, deadlines, and fees with the responsible office. A tax-sale list is not a complete list of delinquent accounts.
