Contact the office for delinquent property tax records. This guide does not confirm an online search or current bill list.

How to find the information

The official Treasurer page lists 406-436-2444 and PO Box 200, Broadus. Use this department contact to establish the current inspection/copy procedure for an existing delinquent-tax report or parcel account ledger.

To obtain an existing delinquent real-property report, account/payment ledger, bill copy or dated redemption/payoff calculation, provide the county tax ID/parcel or geocode if known, tax years, desired as-of date and preferred inspection or electronic-copy format. Ask which taxes, interest, penalties and costs are included and confirm any copy, certification or extract charge. A dated list, lien or deed record does not certify today’s unpaid balance.

What to ask for

“I am looking for publicly available delinquent real-property tax records for Powder River County for [tax year]. Which office maintains these records? Is there an online search or downloadable list? If not, how can I request a copy, and what fees apply?”

Have the property address, parcel number, owner name, and tax year ready when searching for a particular property.

County-specific notes

This remains contact status because the sparse department page did not establish an online delinquency search or report export. The general county 406-436-2361 line is separate. Review concerns access guidance rather than certified taxpayer liability. No account registration, payment, lien-assignment application or records-request submission was made; no taxpayer rows or owner-list attachments are included in this import.

We help you locate records; we do not store taxpayer lists, determine delinquency, collect taxes, or sell tax liens. Confirm balances, payment status, deadlines, and fees with the responsible office. A tax-sale list is not a complete list of delinquent accounts.
