PROPERTY TAX RESEARCH, MADE SIMPLER
Laclede County, Missouri
Where to look, which office to contact, and how to request records.
Where to obtain records
Laclede County Collector
Official property-tax record-access guidanceHow to find the information
The published Help directs users to Details for payment history and explains that an asterisk in NOTE flags back taxes or an individual certificate. It also documents View Reports > Unpaid Taxes with year selection, and past-record searches by name or parcel. These instructions were reviewed without executing a query. Individual-certificate accounts cannot be paid online; ask the Collector for the dated redemption/full ledger.
For an existing record, give the parcel/account or locator number if known, the tax years and desired as-of date. Specify an unpaid real-estate collection ledger, annual delinquent land list, dated sale publication, certificate/sale result, redemption calculation or surplus/proceeds claim and disbursement record. Ask the office to identify the custodian when the requested court or proceeds record is held elsewhere. Confirm which interest, penalties, assessments, costs and later payments are included. Ask for existing records and available formats; do not assume a custom report will be created. Confirm inspection, electronic-copy, certification and extraction charges before ordering.
What to ask for
“I am looking for publicly available delinquent real-property tax records for Laclede County for [tax year]. Which office maintains these records? Is there an online search or downloadable list? If not, how can I request a copy, and what fees apply?”
Have the property address, parcel number, owner name, and tax year ready when searching for a particular property.
County-specific notes
Verified denotes reviewed published access guidance, including explicit staff-only record routes; it does not certify a taxpayer search result. Reviewed October 28, 2026. Ordinary annual bills, unpaid ledgers, dated advertised sale lists, certificates, redemption records and surplus proceeds have different scope. A past sale date is not an upcoming event. Confirm subsequent payments and the exact record date with the custodian. No taxpayer search, owner-list reproduction, records-request submission, account registration, auction enrollment or payment occurred.
