Where to obtain records

Harrison County Chancery Clerk — tax-sale and redemption records

Open Harrison land-redemption portal

Office website →

How to find the information

Open the clerk-linked land-redemption portal for taxes already sold at a tax sale. Use the Office website button for the official explanation. Confirm the judicial district and ask the Chancery Clerk for the sale/redemption record or an existing unredeemed-parcel list: Gulfport 228-865-4036 or Biloxi 228-435-8220. Provide parcel and tax-sale year; request copy/export charges before ordering. Current pre-sale bills belong with the Tax Collector.

What to ask for

“I am looking for publicly available delinquent real-property tax records for Harrison County for [tax year]. Which office maintains these records? Is there an online search or downloadable list? If not, how can I request a copy, and what fees apply?”

Have the property address, parcel number, owner name, and tax year ready when searching for a particular property.

County-specific notes

Official clerk guidance and both district contacts were inspected. The portal returned a JavaScript application shell; no taxpayer query or current balance was checked. The Secretary of State’s inventory covers land forfeited to Mississippi after unpaid taxes and an expired redemption period. It does not list every unpaid county bill, every county tax sale or all parcels still in redemption. Absence from the inventory does not establish that taxes are paid.

An independent directory, not a government agency.

We help you locate records; we do not store taxpayer lists, determine delinquency, collect taxes, or sell tax liens. Confirm balances, payment status, deadlines, and fees with the responsible office. A tax-sale list is not a complete list of delinquent accounts.
