How to find the information

Use the county’s delinquent-tax inquiry for property sold at the annual tax sale. For assistance or an existing unredeemed-parcel file, contact the Delinquency Taxes Office at 662-469-8399 or deltax@desotocountyms.gov and supply parcel and sale-year information. Ask the Tax Collector separately for bills still due in that office. The Office website button opens the county’s Delinquent Taxes guidance.

What to ask for

“I am looking for publicly available delinquent real-property tax records for DeSoto County for [tax year]. Which office maintains these records? Is there an online search or downloadable list? If not, how can I request a copy, and what fees apply?”

Have the property address, parcel number, owner name, and tax year ready when searching for a particular property.

County-specific notes

The county’s source page and linked service route were checked. Its Taxes Maturing in 2025 section concerns an older sale cycle and is not a current 2026 delinquent list. Taxpayer queries, results and full countywide export availability were not verified. The Secretary of State’s inventory covers land forfeited to Mississippi after unpaid taxes and an expired redemption period. It does not list every unpaid county bill, every county tax sale or all parcels still in redemption. Absence from the inventory does not establish that taxes are paid.

An independent directory, not a government agency.

We help you locate records; we do not store taxpayer lists, determine delinquency, collect taxes, or sell tax liens. Confirm balances, payment status, deadlines, and fees with the responsible office. A tax-sale list is not a complete list of delinquent accounts.
