Nicollet County Auditor-Treasurer
Official county property-tax access guidanceHow to find the information
Nicollet’s Property Tax page provides the county’s property-tax information and payment routes through the Auditor-Treasurer. Use the published service for available bills, then contact 507-934-7806 for an existing prior-year unpaid ledger or dated payoff if later interest, penalties and payments matter. Keep ordinary tax records separate from the county’s forfeiture material and specify whether the parcel has a confession-of-judgment arrangement.
For existing records, provide the parcel/account identifier, tax year and desired as-of date. Specify an unpaid collection ledger, dated delinquent publication, tax judgment, confession-of-judgment plan ledger, expiration-of-redemption notice or tax-forfeiture record. Ask which special assessments, penalties, interest, costs and later payments are included. Confirm inspection, electronic-copy, certification, tax-search and extract charges before ordering. Assessment/ownership data, an original bill and a forfeited-property sale inventory do not certify the complete current delinquent amount.
What to ask for
“I am looking for publicly available delinquent real-property tax records for Nicollet County for [tax year]. Which office maintains these records? Is there an online search or downloadable list? If not, how can I request a copy, and what fees apply?”
Have the property address, parcel number, owner name, and tax year ready when searching for a particular property.
County-specific notes

Annual notices, statements, tax judgments, payment plans, state forfeiture and later sales concern different records. No account creation, record request, bidder enrollment or payment was performed. No taxpayer rows or owner-list attachments are included.
