How to find the information
Kittson routes property-tax assistance to Taxpayer Services at 218-843-3432. Its linked Property Information portal displayed a maintenance-unavailable notice during review, so searchable fields and current delinquent coverage could not be confirmed. Request an existing unpaid ledger or dated publication from Taxpayer Services. The department separates tax-forfeiture sale materials from ordinary tax administration; those sale records do not cover every unpaid account.
For existing records, provide the parcel/account identifier, tax year and desired as-of date. Specify an unpaid collection ledger, dated delinquent publication, tax judgment, confession-of-judgment plan ledger, expiration-of-redemption notice or tax-forfeiture record. Ask which special assessments, penalties, interest, costs and later payments are included. Confirm inspection, electronic-copy, certification, tax-search and extract charges before ordering. Assessment/ownership data, an original bill and a forfeited-property sale inventory do not certify the complete current delinquent amount.
What to ask for
“I am looking for publicly available delinquent real-property tax records for Kittson County for [tax year]. Which office maintains these records? Is there an online search or downloadable list? If not, how can I request a copy, and what fees apply?”
Have the property address, parcel number, owner name, and tax year ready when searching for a particular property.
County-specific notes
Contact status: the responsible office/request route is confirmed, while public online delinquent-account coverage remains unconfirmed. The linked Property Information service displayed a maintenance notice. Reviewed October 28, 2026. Published forms, directions and labels were reviewed without submitting taxpayer searches. Annual notices, statements, tax judgments, payment plans, state forfeiture and later sales concern different records. No account creation, record request, bidder enrollment or payment was performed. No taxpayer rows or owner-list attachments are included.
