Where to look, which office to contact, and how to request records.
Where to obtain records
Isanti County Auditor-Treasurer
Official county property-tax access guidanceHow to find the information
Isanti’s Property Taxes page gives lookup directions using parcel number, situs address or mailing address. Select the parcel, display tax detail and use the Tax Statements & Links box to select a statement. Statements may appear online after the mailing date. Delinquent Taxes, Confession of Judgement Payment Plan and Tax Forfeited Property are separate sections; ask the Auditor-Treasurer at 763-689-1644 for an existing ledger or dated amount beyond the statement.
For existing records, provide the parcel/account identifier, tax year and desired as-of date. Specify an unpaid collection ledger, dated delinquent publication, tax judgment, confession-of-judgment plan ledger, expiration-of-redemption notice or tax-forfeiture record. Ask which special assessments, penalties, interest, costs and later payments are included. Confirm inspection, electronic-copy, certification, tax-search and extract charges before ordering. Assessment/ownership data, an original bill and a forfeited-property sale inventory do not certify the complete current delinquent amount.
What to ask for
“I am looking for publicly available delinquent real-property tax records for Isanti County for [tax year]. Which office maintains these records? Is there an online search or downloadable list? If not, how can I request a copy, and what fees apply?”
Have the property address, parcel number, owner name, and tax year ready when searching for a particular property.
County-specific notes
