Official county property-tax access guidanceHow to find the information
Blue Earth’s Paying Taxes guide describes its online property-tax information system as searchable by address or parcel number, with current and historical taxes, special assessments and jurisdictional breakdowns. Taxpayer Services is now within Property and Environmental Resources. For an existing delinquent ledger or dated quote beyond the account view, call its taxpayer-service specialists at 507-304-4251. Manufactured-home tax-clearance letters are a separate record request.
For existing records, provide the parcel/account identifier, tax year and desired as-of date. Specify an unpaid collection ledger, dated delinquent publication, tax judgment, confession-of-judgment plan ledger, expiration-of-redemption notice or tax-forfeiture record. Ask which special assessments, penalties, interest, costs and later payments are included. Confirm inspection, electronic-copy, certification, tax-search and extract charges before ordering. Assessment/ownership data, an original bill and a forfeited-property sale inventory do not certify the complete current delinquent amount.
What to ask for
“I am looking for publicly available delinquent real-property tax records for Blue Earth County for [tax year]. Which office maintains these records? Is there an online search or downloadable list? If not, how can I request a copy, and what fees apply?”
Have the property address, parcel number, owner name, and tax year ready when searching for a particular property.
County-specific notes
