Where to obtain records

Becker County Auditor-Treasurer

Official county property-tax access guidance

How to find the information

Becker’s Auditor-Treasurer Property Taxes, Values and Rates page links Parcel & Tax Records separately from online/telephone payment. The office maintains unpaid-tax records and administers tax judgments and forfeiture. Use the county-linked parcel service for available tax information, then request an existing unpaid ledger, judgment history or dated payoff from the Auditor-Treasurer. A GIS parcel view does not establish the complete collection amount.

For existing records, provide the parcel/account identifier, tax year and desired as-of date. Specify an unpaid collection ledger, dated delinquent publication, tax judgment, confession-of-judgment plan ledger, expiration-of-redemption notice or tax-forfeiture record. Ask which special assessments, penalties, interest, costs and later payments are included. Confirm inspection, electronic-copy, certification, tax-search and extract charges before ordering. Assessment/ownership data, an original bill and a forfeited-property sale inventory do not certify the complete current delinquent amount.

What to ask for

“I am looking for publicly available delinquent real-property tax records for Becker County for [tax year]. Which office maintains these records? Is there an online search or downloadable list? If not, how can I request a copy, and what fees apply?”

Have the property address, parcel number, owner name, and tax year ready when searching for a particular property.

County-specific notes

Verified denotes reviewed published access guidance, including an explicit office-only payoff route where applicable; it does not certify a tested account result. Reviewed October 28, 2026. Published forms, directions and labels were reviewed without submitting taxpayer searches. Annual notices, statements, tax judgments, payment plans, state forfeiture and later sales concern different records. No account creation, record request, bidder enrollment or payment was performed. No taxpayer rows or owner-list attachments are included.

We help you locate records; we do not store taxpayer lists, determine delinquency, collect taxes, or sell tax liens. Confirm balances, payment status, deadlines, and fees with the responsible office. A tax-sale list is not a complete list of delinquent accounts.
