How to find the information

Identify the city or town where the parcel lies. The municipal example below concerns Plymouth. For another locality in Plymouth County, the Office website link opens the state city/town directory; use its municipal department link to locate the Collector and, where separate, the Treasurer/Tax Title office.

For Town of Plymouth property, use Treasurer/Collector. Its FAQ expressly routes calendar-year payment-history requests through a public records request to the Tax Collector’s Office, and separately describes Municipal Lien Certificates and Tax Title responsibilities.

For an existing delinquent real-estate report, account/payment history or current payoff, state the municipality, parcel or map/block/lot identifier if known, tax years, desired as-of date and preferred inspection or electronic-copy format. Ask whether the record covers ordinary unpaid bills, Tax Title accounts or foreclosed property, and confirm any copying, extract or certification charge before ordering.

What to ask for

“I am looking for publicly available delinquent real-property tax records for Plymouth County for [tax year]. Which office maintains these records? Is there an online search or downloadable list? If not, how can I request a copy, and what fees apply?”

Have the property address, parcel number, owner name, and tax year ready when searching for a particular property.

County-specific notes

The page posts Municipal Lien Certificate charges of $50 for residential property, $100 for four-or-more-family residences, and $150 for commercial/industrial property; confirm the applicable category and current fee. A certificate and a payment-history request answer different questions. The deputy collector mentioned for vehicle registration flags is not automatically the real-estate Tax Title contact. Plymouth covers town accounts, not the whole county. Reviewed status concerns source/access guidance, not taxpayer liability. No taxpayer query, payment, account registration or records-request submission was made; no taxpayer rows are included in this import.

We help you locate records; we do not store taxpayer lists, determine delinquency, collect taxes, or sell tax liens. Confirm balances, payment status, deadlines, and fees with the responsible office. A tax-sale list is not a complete list of delinquent accounts.
