How to find the information

Collections/Taxes separates Pay Your Bill from FY26 Tax Sale Results, 2026 terms, the notice and four newspaper-advertisement versions. It also provides Online Request for Tax Certification and a separate Surplus Funds List. Use the relevant dated document or ask Collections for the existing itemized unpaid ledger or certificate/redemption record.

For existing records, provide the account/parcel identifier, tax or fiscal year and desired as-of date. Specify an ordinary unpaid collection ledger, dated tax-sale advertisement, certificate history or a current redemption quote. Ask whether municipal bills, utilities, special assessments, penalties, interest, later taxes and certificate-holder costs are included. Confirm inspection, electronic-copy, certification, research and extract charges before ordering. SDAT ownership/assessment data, a payment receipt and an old sale list do not certify the complete current amount due.

What to ask for

“I am looking for publicly available delinquent real-property tax records for Carroll County for [tax year]. Which office maintains these records? Is there an online search or downloadable list? If not, how can I request a copy, and what fees apply?”

Have the property address, parcel number, owner name, and tax year ready when searching for a particular property.

County-specific notes

The current page describes an online RealAuction sale; the older FAQ saying properties are not listed online is not used as current access guidance. Vendor payment fees are separate from record-copy or certification charges. Reviewed October 28, 2026. Published directions and service labels are not tested account results. No taxpayer criteria, account creation, CAPTCHA completion, record-request submission, bidder enrollment or payment was performed. No owner-list attachments or taxpayer rows are reproduced.

An independent directory, not a government agency.

We help you locate records; we do not store taxpayer lists, determine delinquency, collect taxes, or sell tax liens. Confirm balances, payment status, deadlines, and fees with the responsible office. A tax-sale list is not a complete list of delinquent accounts.
