How to find the information

Open the county’s delinquent-tax information page. Review the available tax-year headings and the records/list options provided there. For a specific bill, have the owner name, property address, parcel number, and tax year ready. If the needed records are not online, call the clerk at (859) 567-5411 to ask how to inspect or request them.

What to ask for

“I am looking for publicly available delinquent real-property tax records for Gallatin County for [tax year]. Which office maintains these records? Is there an online search or downloadable list? If not, how can I request a copy, and what fees apply?”

Have the property address, parcel number, owner name, and tax year ready when searching for a particular property.

County-specific notes

A list’s publication year and an account’s current payment status are different things. Verify the year, any later payment or transfer, and the current record holder with the clerk.

An independent directory, not a government agency.

We help you locate records; we do not store taxpayer lists, determine delinquency, collect taxes, or sell tax liens. Confirm balances, payment status, deadlines, and fees with the responsible office. A tax-sale list is not a complete list of delinquent accounts.
