How to find the information

Search by owner last name or first name, bill number, tax year, account/parcel number, or street address. Select Show Only Delinquent Bills if appropriate. Results are limited to 1,000 records, so narrow the search where possible. Open a bill to review its recorded details and confirm current status with the responsible office.

What to ask for

“I am looking for publicly available delinquent real-property tax records for Fayette County for [tax year]. Which office maintains these records? Is there an online search or downloadable list? If not, how can I request a copy, and what fees apply?”

Have the property address, parcel number, owner name, and tax year ready when searching for a particular property.

County-specific notes

The clerk’s search instructions explain that current tax-year bills are held by the Fayette County Sheriff. A bill assigned to a third-party purchaser is different from a bill still held by the clerk. Confirm the correct payment recipient before acting.

An independent directory, not a government agency.

We help you locate records; we do not store taxpayer lists, determine delinquency, collect taxes, or sell tax liens. Confirm balances, payment status, deadlines, and fees with the responsible office. A tax-sale list is not a complete list of delinquent accounts.
