How to find the information

Use the property search and offered tax-year controls; select the relevant real-estate account type to identify the correct account. Review tax years and payment status separately; a current bill or appraisal value does not establish prior-year delinquency. For an existing countywide delinquent real-estate report, account history or current collection balance, contact the Johnson County Treasurer at 913-715-2600. Specify the tax years, real estate rather than personal property, the report’s as-of date and your preferred electronic format. Ask which existing record can be inspected or copied and obtain a fee estimate before ordering. Published office email: taxinfo@jocogov.org. Published mailing address: : 111 S. Cherry Street, Suite 1500, Olathe, KS 66061-3471.

What to ask for

“I am looking for publicly available delinquent real-property tax records for Johnson County for [tax year]. Which office maintains these records? Is there an online search or downloadable list? If not, how can I request a copy, and what fees apply?”

Have the property address, parcel number, owner name, and tax year ready when searching for a particular property.

County-specific notes

The tax-account search entry controls were reviewed; search results, historical completeness and current balances were not tested. A paid entry for one year does not establish that every year is clear. A tax-sale or foreclosure list covers a different population from all unpaid accounts. The county also has separate tax-foreclosure guidance; a foreclosure offering is not a complete delinquent-account roll.

An independent directory, not a government agency.

We help you locate records; we do not store taxpayer lists, determine delinquency, collect taxes, or sell tax liens. Confirm balances, payment status, deadlines, and fees with the responsible office. A tax-sale list is not a complete list of delinquent accounts.
