How to find the information

Open the county-linked Tax Information Module. Choose Real Estate (RL), enter an owner/taxpayer name, property address, parcel identifier or quick-reference number in the offered fields, and select the relevant tax-year range. The Only statements with taxes due (Current or Delinquent) checkbox includes current unpaid taxes as well as older delinquency. Review the correct account and each relevant year; a due amount alone does not establish delinquency. For an existing countywide delinquent real-estate report, account history or current collection balance, contact the Coffey County Treasurer at 620-364-5532. Specify the tax years, real estate rather than personal property, the report’s as-of date and your preferred electronic format. Ask which existing record can be inspected or copied and obtain a fee estimate before ordering. Published office email: rcroll@mail.coffeycountyks.org. Published mailing address: 110 South 6th Street, Room 203, Burlington, Ks 66839.

What to ask for

“I am looking for publicly available delinquent real-property tax records for Coffey County for [tax year]. Which office maintains these records? Is there an online search or downloadable list? If not, how can I request a copy, and what fees apply?”

Have the property address, parcel number, owner name, and tax year ready when searching for a particular property.

County-specific notes

Actual real-estate, year-range and taxes-due controls were inspected. Visible fields do not establish complete historical coverage, working result delivery, countywide export or the current balance of any account. Current unpaid taxes, delinquent taxes, foreclosure offerings and sale results are different record sets.

An independent directory, not a government agency.

We help you locate records; we do not store taxpayer lists, determine delinquency, collect taxes, or sell tax liens. Confirm balances, payment status, deadlines, and fees with the responsible office. A tax-sale list is not a complete list of delinquent accounts.
