Where to obtain records

Stark County Treasurer / Collector; County Clerk for sold-tax redemption

Official county tax-records access guidance

How to find the information

The Treasurer explicitly links an online property-tax search for printing a tax bill, separate from online payment and tax-bill text alerts. It describes newspaper delinquency publication and added advertising costs. Request an existing account ledger or the relevant dated publication; ask the Clerk for sold-tax redemption records.

To obtain existing unpaid-tax records, provide the parcel/PIN, tax year, payable year and desired as-of date. Specify whether you need current collection history, the annual delinquency publication, tax-sale/certificate history or a dated redemption estimate. Ask whether subsequent taxes, interest, penalties, costs and recent payments are included. Confirm inspection, electronic-copy, research, certification and extract fees with the office. Assessor valuations, ordinary property sales, trustee-auction catalogs and payment receipts do not by themselves certify every unpaid obligation.

What to ask for

“I am looking for publicly available delinquent real-property tax records for Stark County for [tax year]. Which office maintains these records? Is there an online search or downloadable list? If not, how can I request a copy, and what fees apply?”

Have the property address, parcel number, owner name, and tax year ready when searching for a particular property.

County-specific notes

A text-alert signup or surplus-property sealed-bid auction is separate from public tax inquiry. No signup, payment, taxpayer search or owner-list download was performed. Reviewed October 28, 2026. County notices can change, and older calendars remain on some sites. No taxpayer query, CAPTCHA completion, account registration, record-request submission, bidder enrollment, upload or payment was performed. No owner-list attachments or taxpayer rows are included.

We help you locate records; we do not store taxpayer lists, determine delinquency, collect taxes, or sell tax liens. Confirm balances, payment status, deadlines, and fees with the responsible office. A tax-sale list is not a complete list of delinquent accounts.
