How to find the information

The state county directory links Johnson County Property Tax Inquiry. The public landing form separates Parcel Search from Mobile Home Search and displays parcel number, owner name and street-address criteria. Use the parcel reference for account research and ask the Treasurer at 618-658-8042 for existing unpaid history or the Clerk’s sold-tax records route.

To obtain existing unpaid-tax records, provide the parcel/PIN, tax year, payable year and desired as-of date. Specify whether you need current collection history, the annual delinquency publication, tax-sale/certificate history or a dated redemption estimate. Ask whether subsequent taxes, interest, penalties, costs and recent payments are included. Confirm inspection, electronic-copy, research, certification and extract fees with the office. Assessor valuations, ordinary property sales, trustee-auction catalogs and payment receipts do not by themselves certify every unpaid obligation.

What to ask for

“I am looking for publicly available delinquent real-property tax records for Johnson County for [tax year]. Which office maintains these records? Is there an online search or downloadable list? If not, how can I request a copy, and what fees apply?”

Have the property address, parcel number, owner name, and tax year ready when searching for a particular property.

County-specific notes

The Treasurer’s association-hosted office profile also names this service but retains 2024 sale dates. Search-form visibility does not confirm result delivery or current redemption amounts. Reviewed October 28, 2026. County notices can change, and older calendars remain on some sites. No taxpayer query, CAPTCHA completion, account registration, record-request submission, bidder enrollment, upload or payment was performed. No owner-list attachments or taxpayer rows are included.

An independent directory, not a government agency.

We help you locate records; we do not store taxpayer lists, determine delinquency, collect taxes, or sell tax liens. Confirm balances, payment status, deadlines, and fees with the responsible office. A tax-sale list is not a complete list of delinquent accounts.
