How to find the information

The state Department of Revenue links Edwards County Property Tax Inquiry. Its landing form separates Basic, Advanced and Mobile Home Search. Basic Search accepts a PIN or owner name; Advanced Search displays address and tax-year criteria, including Search All Tax Years. Ask Treasury for existing unpaid charges or Clerk redemption information beyond the public account view.

To obtain existing unpaid-tax records, provide the parcel/PIN, tax year, payable year and desired as-of date. Specify whether you need current collection history, the annual delinquency publication, tax-sale/certificate history or a dated redemption estimate. Ask whether subsequent taxes, interest, penalties, costs and recent payments are included. Confirm inspection, electronic-copy, research, certification and extract fees with the office. Assessor valuations, ordinary property sales, trustee-auction catalogs and payment receipts do not by themselves certify every unpaid obligation.

What to ask for
