Calhoun County, Illinois
Where to look, which office to contact, and how to request records.
Where to obtain records
Calhoun County Treasurer / Collector; County Clerk for sold-tax redemption
Official county tax-records access guidanceHow to find the information
Pay Your Property Taxes Online says to have the parcel number or tax bill ready. The Treasurer’s current office contact is 618-576-9700 extension 3; use that desk for an existing unpaid ledger, delinquency publication or the correct records custodian if the payment route does not supply history.
To obtain existing unpaid-tax records, provide the parcel/PIN, tax year, payable year and desired as-of date. Specify whether you need current collection history, the annual delinquency publication, tax-sale/certificate history or a dated redemption estimate. Ask whether subsequent taxes, interest, penalties, costs and recent payments are included. Confirm inspection, electronic-copy, research, certification and extract fees with the office. Assessor valuations, ordinary property sales, trustee-auction catalogs and payment receipts do not by themselves certify every unpaid obligation.
What to ask for
“I am looking for publicly available delinquent real-property tax records for Calhoun County for [tax year]. Which office maintains these records? Is there an online search or downloadable list? If not, how can I request a copy, and what fees apply?”
Have the property address, parcel number, owner name, and tax year ready when searching for a particular property.
County-specific notes
The published payment entry is not a verified countywide delinquency database. The current office number differs from the older association directory, so use the current county contact. Reviewed October 28, 2026. County notices can change, and older calendars remain on some sites. No taxpayer query, CAPTCHA completion, account registration, record-request submission, bidder enrollment, upload or payment was performed. No owner-list attachments or taxpayer rows are included.
