Nez Perce County, Idaho
Where to look, which office to contact, and how to request records.
Where to obtain records
Nez Perce County Treasurer / Tax Collector
Treasurer records-access guidanceHow to find the information
Use Treasurer at 208-799-3030 in Lewiston. County navigation separates Pay Taxes Online, Important Tax Information, Treasurer Services, Tax Deed Sale Properties, Tax Deed Process and Excess Tax Deed Fund. Choose the ledger or notice appropriate to the requested stage.
For an existing delinquent real-estate report, tax-account ledger, bill copy or current payoff, provide the county parcel/PIN or bill identifier if known, tax years, desired as-of date and preferred inspection or electronic-copy format. Ask which unpaid years, interest, costs and special assessments are included, and confirm any copying, certification or extract charge. A dated tax-deed notice, sale offering or assessment value does not certify today’s balance.
What to ask for
“I am looking for publicly available delinquent real-property tax records for Nez Perce County for [tax year]. Which office maintains these records? Is there an online search or downloadable list? If not, how can I request a copy, and what fees apply?”
Have the property address, parcel number, owner name, and tax year ready when searching for a particular property.
County-specific notes
The county’s introduction states that partial payments can be made on delinquent, current or future taxes; a partial-payment record alone is not proof that the full account is cleared. The Treasurer is distinct from the Nez Perce Tribe and from Lewis County offices. Review concerns access guidance, not taxpayer liability. No taxpayer query, registration, payment or records-request submission was made; no taxpayer rows or owner-list attachments are included in this import.
