How to find the information

Open Delinquent Tax Accounts and distinguish Top 25 Delinquent Accounts from Delinquent Accounts 3+ years. Review each document’s own publication/as-of date before using it; a ranked list and an age-limited list omit other possible unpaid accounts. The Office website button opens Treasury, which provides Request for Tax Record Information and Download Maui County Data Extracts. The latter separately identifies Billing and Tax Data versus property/parcel, sales and other extracts. For the existing delinquency report or account history you need, call Treasury at 808-270-7697, identify the TMK, tax years, report as-of date, real-estate scope and preferred electronic-copy or inspection format, and request any fee estimate. Published office: Real Property Tax Collections, 110 Ala‘ihi Street, Suite 108, Kahului, HI 96732. For a formal request, follow the county’s UIPA Public Records Request instructions; the described online process includes logging in or creating an account.

What to ask for

“I am looking for publicly available delinquent real-property tax records for Maui County for [tax year]. Which office maintains these records? Is there an online search or downloadable list? If not, how can I request a copy, and what fees apply?”

Have the property address, parcel number, owner name, and tax year ready when searching for a particular property.

County-specific notes

The delinquency page also describes tax-sale auction offerings; a specific offering and a live unpaid-account roll cover different populations. Publication links and data-extract labels do not establish current liability or complete historical coverage. The county’s tax-collection number is distinct from Real Property Assessment, tax-map and general Finance contacts. This guide does not assign Maui collection authority to Kalawao solely because it is nearby. No taxpayer query, list-file download, account creation, request submission, export or payment was performed.

An independent directory, not a government agency.

We help you locate records; we do not store taxpayer lists, determine delinquency, collect taxes, or sell tax liens. Confirm balances, payment status, deadlines, and fees with the responsible office. A tax-sale list is not a complete list of delinquent accounts.
