How to find the information

Start with the collector’s current FloridaTax service and choose property taxes to locate the bill. For older certificate records, use the office website’s historical tax-certificate search. For collection guidance, open Tax Info and its delinquent-tax section.

What to ask for

“I am looking for publicly available delinquent real-property tax records for Lafayette County for [tax year]. Which office maintains these records? Is there an online search or downloadable list? If not, how can I request a copy, and what fees apply?”

Have the property address, parcel number, owner name, and tax year ready when searching for a particular property.

County-specific notes

The historical certificate search is not the same as the current property-tax account service.

An independent directory, not a government agency.

We help you locate records; we do not store taxpayer lists, determine delinquency, collect taxes, or sell tax liens. Confirm balances, payment status, deadlines, and fees with the responsible office. A tax-sale list is not a complete list of delinquent accounts.
