How to find the information

Use PRIDE Property Search and choose Owner, Address, Map Number, Sub-Division/Lot or Tax Account according to the identifier you have. The Owner tab requires a last name and offers optional first name and primary/secondary owner choices. The Address tab requires a street name; the county directs users to omit Street/St. and other suffixes. The Tax Account tab provides a tax-account-number field. Match the correct parcel/account and request the relevant tax years rather than relying on assessment value to infer unpaid taxes. The Office website button opens Finance guidance and the Pay My Tax Bill route. For an existing countywide delinquent real-estate report, tax-account history or current balance, contact the Tax Office at 302-744-2341 or TaxOffice@kentcountyde.gov. Identify tax years, report as-of date, parcel/account scope and preferred electronic format or inspection; ask for any copy/export or certification charge estimate. Published location: Kent County Levy Court Administrative Complex, 555 Bay Road, Dover, DE 19901. If needed, the county FOIA page provides an online public-records request route and PIO@kentcountyde.gov.

What to ask for

“I am looking for publicly available delinquent real-property tax records for Kent County for [tax year]. Which office maintains these records? Is there an online search or downloadable list? If not, how can I request a copy, and what fees apply?”

Have the property address, parcel number, owner name, and tax year ready when searching for a particular property.

County-specific notes

The tax-payment portal explicitly excludes accounts paid in full and accounts paid by mortgage companies from online payment processing; an inaccessible or absent payment account is not evidence of delinquency. Its notice also says displayed amounts may omit penalties assessed within the last two business days. PRIDE says its information updates overnight rather than in real time. PRIDE’s 302-744-2401 number belongs to Assessment; this guide uses the separately verified collection/Tax Office number, 302-744-2341. Finance identifies the Receiver of Taxes as the bill issuer, distinct from Assessment. Monition Sale Procedures points to the Sheriff’s tax-sale offerings; a specific sale offering is not the entire current delinquency roll. No taxpayer query, actual balance check, payment or export was performed.

An independent directory, not a government agency.

We help you locate records; we do not store taxpayer lists, determine delinquency, collect taxes, or sell tax liens. Confirm balances, payment status, deadlines, and fees with the responsible office. A tax-sale list is not a complete list of delinquent accounts.
