How to find the information

Treasurer/Public Trustee says Pay Taxes Online can view current-year taxes, prior-year receipts and payment verification. Tax Lien Sale Information and Treasurer’s Deed Auction Information are separate. Ask Treasury at 970-400-3290 for an existing unpaid ledger, older lien history or a dated redemption amount.

For an existing delinquent real-property report, parcel account/payment ledger, Statement of Taxes Due or dated tax-lien redemption amount, provide the account/parcel/schedule reference, tax years and desired as-of date. Ask whether current delinquency, sold or county-held liens, later endorsements, interest and advertising/redemption costs are included and whether recent payments have posted. Confirm inspection, electronic-copy, certification, research and extract fees. Assessor valuations, loan foreclosures and dated sale lists do not certify today’s unpaid balance.

What to ask for

“I am looking for publicly available delinquent real-property tax records for Weld County for [tax year]. Which office maintains these records? Is there an online search or downloadable list? If not, how can I request a copy, and what fees apply?”

Have the property address, parcel number, owner name, and tax year ready when searching for a particular property.
